Is my tool Dual Voltage?Updated a year ago
Having dual voltage means that a tool can be used in a larger range of voltage settings - from the United States/ Canada to Europe, for example.
You'll know a tool is dual voltage by reviewing information in the manual and on the actual body of the tool.
North American voltage range is typically 110 - 120v
European voltage range is typically 220 - 240v
So if your tool shows a range of 120 - 240v, that means that it has dual voltage capability, and can be used while traveling without a voltage converter! A plug adapter is likely needed though! :)
